According to the latest REC/KPMG Report on Jobs demand for staff is still growing. The strongest rate of expansion was signalled for executive and professional workers. Nursing, medical, care, IT and computing as well as accounting and financial also registered strong rates of growth.

However, shortages of suitable candidates in some skill areas could hinder growth, finds the REC-study JobsOutlook. Technical and engineering, computing and IT, and education and training are the areas in which employers expect to have the most difficultly sourcing appropriately skilled candidates for permanent roles.
